Job summary

Lumibility is seeking a Developmental Therapy Associate to drive family-centered activities that support positive outcomes for young children and their families. The role involves assessment, curriculum development, and coordinated delivery of early intervention services.

Hours are 40 per week in the New London area. A bachelor’s degree in a related field is required, with experience in early intervention preferred; a valid US driver's license and access to the internet are also needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Child Development, Early Intervention or related field required.
• Experience in children and family services with a focus on early intervention preferred.
• Must have a valid United States driver’s license and reliable transportation, plus internet access and cell phone.

Kidsteps early intervention program is seeking an outstanding Developmental Therapy Associate to ensure the development and implementation of activities that are family-centered and promote positive outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits

Responsibilities

• Under supervision, assess children and families and assist with planning, developing, implementing, and reviewing curriculums and IFSP's that will meet the individual developmental needs of young children and their families.
• Comply with all applicable federal and state laws, regulations, guidelines, and best practices providing state contracted early intervention services.
• Perform functions of service coordinator including ensuring that Early Intervention services achieve desired outcomes for families and children served and meet the standards as established by the state’s quality assurance team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in Child Development, Early Intervention or related field required.
• Experience in children and family services with a focus on early intervention preferred.
• Must have a valid United States driver’s license with an acceptable driving history.
• Must have internet access, cell phone, and reliable transportation.
