Job summary

Saint Peter’s Health Care System in New Jersey seeks a Developmental Pediatrics Advanced Practice Nurse to provide direct patient care under physician supervision. You will manage follow-up patients, assist with procedures, coordinate with the PA team, and document care promptly per guidelines.

You will maintain a continuity panel, review labs, contact families for follow-up, and participate in ongoing education across neonatal to geriatric populations.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed as Registered Nurse in New Jersey.
• Current Advance Practice Nursing licensure in New Jersey.
• CDS and DEA required.
• Master's degree in nursing required.
• Two (2) years' experience in specialty strongly preferred.
• Certified as a nurse practitioner in New Jersey.
• BLS, PALS and NRP certification required by American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care within training limits and with supervising physician.
• Maintain a panel of continuity care patients and assist with patient flow.
• Assist with procedures when triage nurses are unavailable; perform urinary catheterization and venipuncture as requested.
• Assist physicians and PA Team with consults and monitoring.
• Review routine labs and notify clinician; contact families for follow-up as needed.
• Document all care within 24 hours per guidelines.
• Contribute to patient education across age groups and life stages.
• Maintain competency for age-related populations and annual CPR certification.
