Plan A Health's pediatric center in Roanoke is seeking a Developmental Pediatrician or Section Chief to lead a growing Child Development Clinic, supporting regional and statewide neurodevelopmental care expansion.

The role includes evaluating, diagnosing, and managing autism spectrum disorders, cerebral palsy, developmental delays, NICU follow-up, and complex neurodevelopmental issues within a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• ABMS Board Certification in Pediatrics; fellowship in Neurodevelopmental Disabilities or Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics; and at least 5 years of leadership experience.

Role:

• Join a multidisciplinary team including pediatric specialists, nurses, therapists, and educators to evaluate, diagnose, and manage conditions such as autism spectrum disorder, cerebral palsy, developmental delays, NICU follow-up, and complex neurodevelopmental issues.
• As Section Chief, provide strategic leadership, oversee program growth, improve clinical operations, mentor staff and faculty, foster community partnerships, and advance quality improvement and research initiatives.

Qualifications:

• ABMS Board Certification in Pediatrics, fellowship in Neurodevelopmental Disabilities or Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics, and at least 5 years of leadership experience for the Section Chief role.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and leadership skills are essential.
• Passion for family-centered care is required.
