Job summary

ViaQuest Residential Services is seeking a Developmental Disabilities Nurse – RN for 7a–7p shifts, offering $35–$36 per hour with an additional +$4 per hour on weekends. The role focuses on care for individuals with developmental disabilities in home settings, with comprehensive training and full-time benefits.

Responsibilities include medication administration, personal care, and coordination with the interdisciplinary team to ensure safe, compassionate care and accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• Minimum of an associate's degree or equivalent in Nursing from an accredited nursing program.
• Nursing experience within Home Care/Home Health, Private Duty Nursing, Long Term Care, or Disability Services is a plus but not required
• Valid driver's license, car insurance and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Performing duties as outlined in the plan of care such as Medication Administration, Personal Care, Light Housekeeping and day to day support.
• 2:2 Ratio of individuals through a consistent caseload.
• Effectively communicating updates and changes to patient's status to the supervising RN.
• Maintaining a safe patient environment.
• Providing emotional and social support and compassionate care to patients.
• Maintaining current patient records and progress notes.
• Working as a member of the interdisciplinary team.
• Developing and establishing a plan of care with physician.
