Responsibilities

• Research - Design, implement and execute state of the art research. Conduct research both independently and collaboratively that is often dependent upon or associated with other ongoing research projects, or is service related.
• Training and Education - Mentor technicians, students and fellows in academic skills. Provide direction to students and residents, fellows and other health care professionals in research and professional conduct. Teach research protocol and methodology to medical students and residents, and fellows.
• Scholarly Activity - Write and publish peer reviewed manuscripts. Present findings at national meetings. Propose and help obtain extramural funding.
