Job summary

The University of Chicago’s Department of Pediatrics invites applications for a full-time assistant professor in Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics. The appointee will contribute to patient care, medical education, and scholarly activity within UChicago Medicine, the Biological Sciences Division, and the Pritzker School of Medicine.

Responsibilities include clinical care for developmental/behavioral pediatric patients, supervision of trainees, and engagement in research or education

Qualifications

• Must hold medical doctorate or equivalent.
• Eligible for medical licensure in Illinois.
• Completed or in process of completing ACGME-approved fellowship in behavioral developmental pediatrics.
• Credentials in public health or health informatics or related experience in developmental/behavioral care coordination.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical care for pediatric patients with developmental and behavioral conditions.
• Train and supervise medical students, residents, and fellows.
• Engage in scholarly activity in research, education, or program development.
