Job summary

The Division of Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics at Albany Medical College, within the Albany Med Health System, invites a board-certified or board-eligible Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrician to join our multidisciplinary team serving children up to 21 years old.

We collaborate with psychiatry, general pediatrics, neurology and genetics, with initiatives including a Medical Home for ASD, a feeding team, and a fast-track developmental screening program.

Qualifications

• Board certification or board eligibility in Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics.
• Interest in developing innovative programming within the scope of DB practice.
• Experience or interest in teaching house staff and medical students.
• Strong dedication to patient-centered care across diverse populations.

Responsibilities

• Provide diagnostic assessments and medical management for patients up to 21 years old with developmental concerns.
• Collaborate with psychiatry, general pediatrics, neurology and genetics.
• Engage in teaching and mentorship of residents and medical students.
• Participate in program development and quality improvement initiatives.
