Job summary
The Albany Medical College Division of Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics, within the Albany Med Health System, is actively recruiting a Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrician to join the team.
The candidate will perform diagnostic assessments and medical management for patients up to 21 years with autism, ADHD, learning disorders and related concerns, and will collaborate with psychiatry, pediatrics, neurology and genetics; teaching residents and students is expected.
Qualifications
- Board certification or board eligibility in Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics.
- Interest in developing innovative programming within the scope of DB practice.
- Experience or interest in teaching house staff and medical students.
- Strong dedication to providing high-quality, patient-centered care across diverse populations.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic assessments and medical management for patients up to 21 years with DB concerns.
- Collaborate with psychiatry, general pediatrics, neurology, and genetics.
- Participate in innovative practice initiatives and developmental screening.
- Contribute to teaching residents and medical students.
