Job summary

Lehigh Valley Health Network (LVHN) is seeking a Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics specialist to join Lehigh Valley Reilly Children’s Hospital, the region’s primary pediatric specialty center.

Physicians here lead quality improvement initiatives, participate in the Pediatric Residency Program, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-acuity care across ambulatory and inpatient services in eastern Pennsylvania.

Qualifications

• Passion for clinical work to positively impact patient care, safety and experience
• Must be board‑eligible or board‑certified with the American Board of Pediatrics
• Fellowship trained in Developmental‑Behavioral Pediatrics
• A valid Pennsylvania Medical License or ability to obtain one is required

Responsibilities

• Dedicated team including pediatric neuropsychologists and habilitation therapists supporting needs such as toileting, sleep, emotional regulation, AAC evaluations, speech services, and developmental testing (ADOS, DAYC-2).
• RN and primary care coordination to support the DBP practice with assistance in writing ABA orders, pre‑evaluation preparation including labs and habilitative service integration and streamlined workflows to improve access and intervention efficiency.

• Expanded Children’s ER (2021), now the largest outside of Philadelphia, with over 25,000 visits annually.
• Pediatric certified burn center and Level II pediatric trauma program.
• Emergency access via MedEvac ground and air transport.
