Qualifications

• One year of service as Direct Support Assistant (all parenthetics) or related roles.
• Completion of a one-year traineeship.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsabilités

• Supervises Direct Support Assistants and other direct care staff in care, treatment, and habilitation of individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities.
• Determines staff assignments, maintains time records, completes evaluations, and trains staff in services documentation.
• Participates in development and implementation of individual habilitation plans and monitors progress.
• Maintains household inventories and ensures supplies, equipment, and safety.
• Manages individuals’ funds and assists with finances and possessions.
• Provides or arranges transportation for activities and emergencies following guidelines.
• Responds to crises and supports family/community engagement as needed.
