In support of the FAA’s workforce development initiatives, Midwest ATC is seeking interested applicants for Developmental Air Traffic Control (ATC) Trainee positions throughout the Midwest ATC areas of responsibility. Interested applicants must be enrolled in, or a graduate from, an FAA-approved Enhanced Air Traffic – Collegiate Training Initiative (ECT-I) or Control Tower Operator – Partnership (CTO-P) program.

The Developmental ATC Trainee will be entered into the Midwest ATC training program at the facility assigned. The Trainee will actively control air traffic on and within the vicinity of the airport according to established procedures and policies to prevent collisions and minimize delays arising from traffic congestion under the direct supervision of an On-the-Job Training Instructor (OJTI).
