Job summary

Link Logistics Real Estate is offering a 10-week paid Development Summer Internship in New York for actively enrolled juniors. You will support the development team with reporting, budgeting, data management, and documentation across the development lifecycle.

This role provides exposure to site evaluation, due diligence, design coordination, financial analysis, construction management, leasing assumptions, and project closeout, with mentoring and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Current junior, undergraduate student actively enrolled.
• Pursuing a degree in accounting, finance, real estate, economics, mathematics, business, civil engineering, construction management, or a related field.
• Interest in commercial real estate, industrial real estate, development, project management, investment, or construction; no formal experience required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; familiarity with project management tools or AI-enabled applications is a plus.
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Development Team with active projects in various stages of the development lifecycle, including site evaluation, due diligence, design coordination, cost estimating, financial modeling, leasing assumptions, construction management, and project closeout.
• Maintain project files, trackers, contracts, invoices, and other development records to ensure information is accurate, organized, and readily accessible.
• Help establish, track, and monitor project budgets, schedules, and key project milestones throughout the development lifecycle to ensure project records are accurate, organized, and current.
• Maintain market lease assumptions and support updates as project budgets, schedules, and market conditions evolve.
• Support project documentation and cash flow projections, ensuring key records are accurate, organized, and current.
• Assist with project documentation, permit tracking, utility coordination, and stakeholder communications, ensuring project records are accurate, organized, and current.
• Support the closeout process for completed developments, including collection of final documentation and confirmation that financial records are finalized.
