Job summary

Pinal County is seeking an experienced manager to oversee human and financial resources for the Development Services Department. You will coordinate work across divisions, engage customers and stakeholders, and align efforts with County goals.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and multiple years of leadership in planning, construction, or public administration, with a focus on collaboration and problem-solving in a fast-paced environment. A valid AZ driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Public or Business Administration or related field.
• Six years of experience in construction, engineering, planning or equivalent; three years supervising preferred.
• Arizona residents must have or obtain a valid AZ driver's license upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Serve as external and internal Customer Service Ombudsman.
• Coordinate planning and work of DSD groups to align with goals.
• Prepare division budget and participate in department budget development.
• Respond to public complaints and provide training for division staff.
• Promote accountability, commitment, and teamwork within the organization.
• Facilitate communication between public, stakeholders, and County agencies.
