The role leads project development from land acquisition through design, schedules, and budgets to meet the division business plan. Responsibilities include coordinating with government agencies on permits, designing lot sizes with engineers, maintaining budgets, and supervising construction. A Bachelor's degree and 4–10 years of related experience are required; salary ranges from $100,000 to $120,000

• Experience in land development and coordination with engineers and other consultants.
• Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and design inputs for development projects.

Position

D.R. Horton, Inc. is currently looking for a Development Project Manager for their Land Department in Hawaii. The right candidate will manage project development from land, design, schedules and project budgets to meet the division business plan.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Manage project development thru community planning and land development.
• Work with government municipals for conditions, permitting and approvals.
• Manage design of lots sizes and product design with engineers and other consultants.
• Maintain budgets and development schedule thru bidding and purchasing administration.
• Play an active role in construction observation with direction.

Supervisory Responsibilities

• Directly supervises two or more employees. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training employees planning, assigning, and directing work; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Education and/or Experience

Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or four to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Salary Range: $100,000-$120,000 plus bonus potential
