Job summary

The Development Planning Engineering Intern will support the Development Planning Team in evaluating future development opportunities and analyzing long-term business scenarios. This role provides exposure to reservoir, development, production, and commercial workflows that drive capital allocation and asset strategy decisions.

The intern will assist in the development and analysis of planning scenarios, production forecasts, economic evaluations, and portfolio optimization initiatives.

Qualifications

• Pursuing engineering degree with at least two years completed.
• GPA 3.3 or higher (transcript verification).
• Available for 12 weeks May 17–August 6, 2027.
• Fully authorized to work in the US; no sponsorship needed.
• Pursuing Petroleum, Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial or related engineering fields.

Responsibilities

• Support Development Planning team in maintaining long-term scenarios.
• Assist with production forecasting and economic evaluations for Eagle Ford and Marcellus opportunities.
• Analyze data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Develop presentations for budget planning and strategy discussions.
• Collaborate with Reservoir, Production, Operations, Commercial and Development Engineering teams.
• Gain exposure to forecasting and planning software.
• Coordinate field visits and asset exposure opportunities when needed.
