POSITION TITLE: Development Operations Engineer

WAGE: $161,886 per year

Overview

This requires collaborating with developers, testers, and deployment teams to plan software deployment and hosting for clients, and to support both development and operations across cloud and on-premise environments.

Responsibilities

1. Work with developers, testers, and deployment teams to create software deployment/hosting plans for client
2. Develop and coordinate with the AWS Team, and implement AWS environmental changes to deploy and host development and testing components
3. Plan and configure new users and new teams in the CI/CD platform using GitLab, Harness, and Jenkins
4. Write and update automated code testing scripts for installation of server software products using Python, Ruby or Groovy, and JavaScript
5. Support and build scalable, secure, and production-ready platform for containerized applications on-premise and in the cloud
6. Design, develop and assist with Kubernetes networking, security, logging, monitoring and persistent storage
7. Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues, providing timely support to the development and operations teams
8. Monitor system performance to ensure reliability and daily data processing
9. Review and provide feedback for all external facing user documentation, including online self-help materials
10. Coach and mentor other teams on CI/CD tools

Qualifications

Required Minimum Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
