Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Senior Development Advisory Consultant (Finance) for a Part Time As Needed role. The team focuses on construction monitoring, due diligence, and risk reporting for assets financed by lenders and investors across the U.S.

You will lead technical due diligence, monitor construction progress, and review loan documentation while engaging clients and coordinating multi-disciplinary teams. A construction or engineering background is required, with PMP/MRICS preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction related field.
• Experience in Project Monitoring, Cost Estimating, Cost Management, and Project Management preferred.
• Experience delivering data centres is beneficial.
• Knowledge of property development and funding trends in procurement.
• Established networks and client-facing track record.
• Strong IT literacy; experience with no/low-code apps preferred.
• Professional qualifications such as PMP or MRICS are highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Independently monitor projects and prepare technical due diligence reports.
• Oversee construction monitoring and risk assessment for funded projects.
• Review loan docs and security instruments for compliance.
• Assess sites, progress, and delivery data to inform risk decisions.
• Lead multi-disciplinary teams on risk reporting for clients.
• Engage clients regularly to support business development efforts.
• Represent Arcadis professionally with clients and lenders.
• Ensure financially controlled delivery across projects.
• Coordinate with managers to ensure cost effectiveness.
