Job summary

The EURēCA! Student Assistants Program at CU Denver provides introductory opportunities for undergraduates to engage in research and creative activities within the Department of Pediatrics at the CU Anschutz campus.

The student assistant will conduct independent experiments contributing to ongoing projects, with mentorship from a PhD graduate student and supervision by the PI. Training will be provided to enable independent work.

Qualifications

• Minimum: Microsoft Office, strong work ethic, ability to work independently.
• Preferred: students interested in graduate or medical school; training can be developed to complement resume/CV.

Responsibilities

• Data analysis, literature searches, histology staining and imaging, and molecular/cellular techniques.
• Projects can be tailored to student interests; some analysis may be done remotely.
