Job summary

Food Bank of the Rockies is seeking a Development Manager to support the Director of Development and Community Relations with designing and executing the development strategy for the Western Slope Distribution Center and the 13 counties we serve.

This role conducts donor prospect research and cultivates a diverse portfolio of individuals, foundations, and corporate donors, helping advance fundraising goals and community engagement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s preferred.
• 3+ years fundraising experience; Raiser's Edge/TeamRaiser experience highly desired.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to build collaborative partnerships with staff, community and funders.
• Knowledge of moves management and individual solicitation, events, and corporate partnerships.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily management of donor gifts and stewardships to ensure accuracy and donor intent.
• Review revenue and donation reports with leadership and data team to maintain clean donor records.
• Lead implementation of development strategies across the Western Slope.
• Represent the organization at community presentations and events.
• Provide data requests support for donors, partners, and outreach strategies.
• Perform campaign analysis by identifying KPIs and metrics.
• Support Direct Mail efforts with donor segmentation and messaging.
• Manage sponsorship fulfillment and partnership benefits with marketing.
