Job summary

UC Irvine is seeking an Assistant Director of Development under the Office of the Vice Provost for Teaching and Learning to manage donor relations and fundraising initiatives with a focus on annual giving and major gifts.

You will coordinate campaigns, develop collateral, and partner with development officers, faculty, and administrators to create giving opportunities for alumni, friends, and corporations.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of fundraising concepts and donor relations.
• Knowledge of University policies and procedures related to gifts.

Responsibilities

• Engage in donor qualification, cultivation, and solicitation for annual and major gifts.
• Coordinate fundraising programs and leadership meetings.
• Prepare collateral material, presentations, newsletters, and stewardship communications.
