Job summary

ACLU is offering an internship to explore the scope of work within the Leadership and Planned Gifts and Corporate Engagement teams. The role includes attending team meetings, handling assignments, and exposure to other Development Department activities.

Responsibilities include data analysis of donors, database management, basic prospect research, and supporting donor education events such as Creatives for Freedom Concert. Strong writing and collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• Interest in development and major gifts fundraising
• Good writing and verbal communication skills
• Experience with Microsoft Office

Responsibilities

• Attend team meetings to learn the range of work in Leadership and Planned Gifts and Corporate Engagement.
• Assist with data analysis of donors/prospects and database management including digitizing paper archives.
• Learn about and conduct basic prospect research on individuals or businesses supporting civil rights work.
• Monitor current events and curate resources for portfolio managers.
• Assist with donor education events and stewardship activities, including Creatives for Freedom Concert.
