Stabil Drill, a Superior Energy Services Company, is seeking a Full-Time Development Engineer to join our Houston, TX team. The role involves designing mechanical components for new oilfield tools from concept through production as part of the Engineering group.

You will assist in planning and drafting projects, create layouts with AutoCAD and Inventor, build 3D models, and verify designs while coordinating prototype manufacture and testing.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering.
• 0+ years of work experience in mechanical design engineering.
• Excellent analytical skills; able to calculate loads and stresses by hand.
• Professional documentation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the planning, design, and drafting of multiple engineering projects.

The position is in the Engineering group. It involves designing various mechanical components for new oilfield tools and products from concept through production by performing the following duties:
