  • Work closely with and provide guidance to engineering technicians and design engineers.
  • Engage with clients to understand their priorities, relying on experience and judgement to plan and accomplish project goals while exceeding client expectations.
  • Check design and computations performed by the internal design team and provide ideas and execution to promote higher‑quality designs.
  • Review development plans and specifications for constructability, safety, and risk considerations.
  • Maintain a value‑engineering mindset throughout design.
  • Collaborate with business and engineering staff across multiple markets and technical disciplines.
  • Work closely with clients to understand nuanced technical needs and identify best feasible solutions.
  • Support marketing, sales, and business‑development activities within the assigned market.
  • Demonstrate creativity, design ownership, and out‑of‑the‑box thinking.
What We Expect From You

  • Completed professional engineer (PE) registration, or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire (required). NCEES Council Record preferred.
  • Minimum 4–6+ years of relevant engineering experience, with at least 3+ years in design of utility‑scale renewables (required).
  • Experience in utility‑scale renewables development, engineer‑of‑record, construction of utility‑scale renewables, stormwater management and permitting—bonus.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD or Civil 3D (required); proficiency in PVFarm, SAM, GIS/ESRI, PVProspect, or similar industry software—bonus.
