Summary The Development Engineer, Motors & ASIC is accountable for the development of the drivetrain inside our actuators ensuring design quality, robustness, manufacturability and design verification. As technical lead this role is the main contact for adjacent project stakeholders as requirements engineering, project management or product verification. While single system elements of the drivetrain as gear box, motor, motion control, power electronics are developed in different departments, this role has the technical lead and is accountable for designing, configuring and commissioning of the complete drive train together with the team of domain professionals. In addition, this role ensures harmonization of actuate functions across projects and across products by e.g. ensuring standardized workflows.

The base pay for this position ranges from $90,000 - $110,000 annually with a target performance bonus of 10% of an employee’s annual base salary. Compensation is based on several factors including geographic location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, education and experience.
