Riverpoint Medical in Northeast Portland is seeking a Development Engineer II to enhance product offerings for medical, dental, and veterinary markets. This role involves developing systems, processes, and methodologies while transforming concepts into prototypes for testing and validation.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering discipline, and 3-5 years of experience in a controlled manufacturing or FDA regulated environment. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, a 401(k) plan, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience working in a controlled manufacturing or development environment.
• 2-5 years of experience in an FDA regulated industry/field.
• Experience working in FDA regulated environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage design and development projects for medical devices.
• Lead development of new products and manufacturing processes.
• Conduct technical studies and prepare cost estimates.
• Mentor and coach other engineering staff.
• Design products in compliance with design control requirements.
