Qualified candidates must have excellent organizational, oral, and written communication skills and experience in relationship-building. This individual will be dedicated to growth and recruiting new donors, as well as working to retain existing supporters of the Reining Strength mission, and reach ambitious fundraising goals. They'll assist with creating experiences to engage prospective donors, enhance retention, and express gratitude to existing donors. A key aspect of this position is managing and executing Derby Day for Reining Strength, the organization's annual fundraiser. This individual is responsible for database entry and upkeep. Reining Strength is seeking a candidate capable of working on multiple projects at once and who has 1-3 years of active fundraising experience as a minimum. Though the opportunity for some work from home will be available, this is predominantly an onsite position.
Required Skills: Excellent organizational, writing, networking, and communication skills. Systems/Software proficiency required includes Google Calendar and Drive, Word, Excel. PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat. Preferred experience: Experience with digital marketing and fundraising initiatives and donor management software.
