We are currently hiring a Development Director in Richmond, VA. The Director will generate revenue for our Heart Walk fundraising campaign. This campaign includes our signature Central Virginia Heart Walk event. You will join a 2‑person team overseeing this campaign. This position will require 2 days of office and field time. While each team member is accountable for their own portfolio and performance, you'll work as part of a close‑knit, highly collaborative team that together raises more than $1M in revenue. We have a fast‑paced sales‑type environment, with the main responsibility of driving revenue in support of our mission. We offer a base salary with the potential to earn an incentive up to 25% of your base pay. The potential incentive is based on achieving certain revenue targets and triggers.

Expected pay: The base pay range will be $61,500 to $80,000. Pay is commensurate with experience; geographic differentials may apply to the pay range. We offer a base salary with the potential to earn an incentive up to 25% of your base pay. The American Heart Association reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range.
