Qualifications

  • 5 years of fundraising experience.
  • Experience at a director level.
  • Proven ability to lead and develop fundraising strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Create and manage major fundraising strategies to drive organizational revenue while reporting to executive leadership.
  • Build, cultivate, and steward a portfolio of high-net-worth individuals and institutional prospects.
  • Personally solicit and close major 5-7 figure gifts.
  • Manage donor pipeline – research new sources, perform outreach, engage donors, and secure funds.
  • Partner with Board members and executives to expand the donor network.
  • Oversee signature annual fundraising events to achieve multi-million revenue targets.
  • Meet with donors, sometimes onsite, for superior service.
  • Collaborate with marketing to craft impact narratives for donor stewardship.
  • Supervise and mentor the development team.
  • Oversee donor database integrity, activity tracking, pipeline movement, and revenue forecasting via CRM tools.
  • Manage grants – grants management, compliance, and tracking.

  • Meet with donors, sometimes onsite, as required to provide excellent service and experience
  • Collaborate with marketing and communications to craft compelling impact narratives for donor stewardship.
