American Heart Association in the Northeast (remote) seeks a Development Coordinator for the Kids Heart Challenge program. This temporary, 16-week assignment supports data entry, donor records, and school engagement, with duties including emails and phone outreach and coordination with the fundraising team.
The role is non-exempt, 25 hours per week, with start December 1, 2026 and end in May 2027. A laptop is provided; flexibility with hours and occasional evenings may be required.

This is a remote, temporary position in the Northeast, currently posted in New York. This individual will be responsible for supporting our School Fundraising programs for our Kids Heart Challenge campaign. There will be data entry, interaction with the fundraising team, and work with some schools. You will support the RVP and Development Directors and achieve the desired school engagement results. Work primarily includes behind-the-scenes data support, emails, and phone calls. The Association will provide a laptop computer with access to company software.

The Development Coordinator is a key element in supporting a cohesive, efficient, and productive workplace. Must be willing to work outside of standard hours as needed, including Support Services.
Data is central to the organization’s success. This position has the meaningful responsibility of entering, maintaining, and reporting on critical data, including donor information, donor payments, events, and prospect details.
At least three years’ experience in administrative work, project coordination, and/or event management systems with strong attention to detail.
Salary minimum to the midpoint of the range is $22.60 to $28.90 per hour. Pay is commensurate with experience; geographic differentials to the pay range may apply. The American Heart Association reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range.
