Job description

As the Grants Administrator, you will lead and oversee the end-to-end grant lifecycle for SACA, its subsidiaries, and its affiliates. You will serve as the strategic bridge between funding sources and our organization, managing vital relationships and communications to drive SACA's mission forward. In collaboration with program leaders and the fiscal team, you will design funding strategies that secure institutional growth, financial sustainability, and long-term compliance.

Supervisory responsibility:

This role has no direct reports.

  • Establish internal standards, benchmarks, and operating policies for highly accurate and compliant grant proposals.
  • Partner with program managers to co-author and refine compelling grant proposals while establishing strict deadlines for submission.
  • Develop and pitch persuasive funding applications to government, corporate, and private foundations to maximize acquisition rates.
  • Manage post-award reporting by preparing and submitting compliance, outcome, and financial expenditure reports to government, foundation, and private funders.
  • Partner directly with the CEO, CFO, and Senior Management to analyze financial data, monitor KPIs, and co-develop comprehensive funding and organizational strategies.
  • Serve as the primary Subject Matter Expert (SME) for grantees, establishing clear communication channels to provide technical assistance, reinforce timelines, and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Partner with program officials to align administrative compliance with programmatic goals and proactively resolve operational bottlenecks.
  • Proactively scout, identify, and analyze new funding streams across government and private channels to build a high-impact pipeline aligned with strategic growth priorities.
  • Analyze and interpret complex grant contracts, legal agreements, and associated documentation to safeguard SACA against compliance risks.
  • Broadcast high-impact funding opportunities to eligible grantees and spearhead the proposal planning and developmental lifecycles.
  • Oversee invoice approvals, verify payment distributions, and securely document all funding receipts.
  • Audit requested budgets and evaluate eligibility parameters to calculate, allocate, and execute accurate financial award distributions.
  • Generate comprehensive financial reports and partner with the executive management team to drive successful project implementation.
  • Maintain strict adherence to internal financial controls and external regulatory budgeting frameworks.
  • Design, maintain, and leverage a centralized grants management database to track the end-to-end lifecycle, compliance deadlines, expenditures, and renewal pipelines.
  • Cultivate and sustain strategic networks with government, corporate, and philanthropic stakeholders to enhance institutional visibility, execute targeted donor communications, and secure capital opportunities.
  • Organize and manage meetings, site visits, and executive presentations for current and prospective funders.
  • Establish and maintain systematic, audit-ready program files and records to ensure complete operational transparency and data integrity.
  • Perform other related responsibilities and operational tasks as required to advance SACA's mission.

  • Comprehensive expertise in the end-to-end grant lifecycle, with a proven ability to align proposals with funder priorities, research methodologies, and strict compliance guidelines.
  • Analytical thinker with a proven track record of making data-driven decisions and navigating complex, ambiguous situations with minimal guidance.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, paired with high emotional intelligence to build collaborative relationships across diverse, cross-functional teams.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with exceptional time-management skills to prioritize tasks, meet tight deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong mathematical and analytical aptitude, including proficiency in statistics, trend analysis, geometry, trigonometry, and the accurate calculation of proportions and ratios.
  • Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders, secure favorable agreements, and align teams toward shared strategic goals.
  • Ability to accurately interpret and execute complex instructions across various formats, including written, verbal, visual, and scheduled guides.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 and Google Workspace, with high digital literacy to quickly master and adapt to new software platforms.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience, paired with 2–4 years of experience in a similar role.
Physical Demands:
  • Constantly required to sit, stand, walk, and handle materials daily. Must be able to occasionally lift and move up to 25 pounds.
  • Functions primarily in a professional office setting with a typically quiet noise level.

Valid criminal record clearances and background checks as mandated by assigned organizational programs and regulatory compliance standards.
