PPL Corporation is seeking a Developer Team Lead to design, develop, and test software solutions across MEAN/MERN and other stacks, aligning with business needs in a hybrid setup. NOTE: This is a hybrid position requiring on‑site presence three days per week at one of our local offices, located in Allentown, PA (Lehigh Valley), Louisville, KY, or Providence, RI. #INDPPL The Developer Team Lead designs develops, and tests solutions based on the functional and technical specifications to meet quality & performance requirements. They are expected to be proficient in a variety of technologies and languages (MEAN, MERN, C#, Java, C , etc., Microservices, Cloud Architecture and API’s) to develop applications. The developer approaches software holistically, catering to both user experience and functionality. The developer dabbles in emerging technologies (e.g., machine learning, internet of things and Artificial Intelligence etc.) to develop solutions that improve business performance (e.g., proactive customer service, outage management, grid balancing, fraud detection, IoT security).
The Team Lead is recognized as an expert in their functional area within the organization and works independently, under minimal guidance from their manager. May have direct responsibility of leading a small team of Developers, as required. Progression to Team Leader level is limited based on business requirement.
