Position Description: The Sponsor is looking for an Expert Software Developer with at least 11 years of experience to join our organization to perform full cycle software development including design and operations and maintenance (O&M) activities on an enterprise application. The candidate will have the opportunity to serve in a small development team supporting an application that utilizes Java and Oracle technologies. The candidate will support development, enhancement, and O&M efforts for a Java application and will use critical thinking skills to proactively identify inefficiencies, develop and implement corrective actions, design new features, and optimize application performance in an Agile team environment.

Mandatory Skills

• Minimum 2 years of demonstrated on‑the‑job experience developing with Ruby on Rails
• Demonstrated on‑the‑job experience doing rapid prototyping and application development with significant user interaction
• Demonstrated on‑the‑job experience with front‑end web development tools such as HTML, CSS and JavaScript
• Demonstrated on‑the‑job experience developing client‑side JavaScript user interfaces using ExtJS
• Demonstrated on‑the‑job experience developing with Oracle or similar RDMS including proficiency with SQL
