Job summary

Diagrid is seeking a Developer Relations Engineer in the San Francisco Bay Area to grow the Dapr OSS community, create engaging content, and engage developers end-to-end. You’ll work with Engineering, Product, Marketing, and Sales to turn complex distributed systems into approachable experiences.

You will report to the broader open-source maintainer team and travel for conferences and meetups as needed, while building demos and tools that demonstrate best practices for Dapr and AI agents.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience
• Strong hands-on knowledge of distributed systems and cloud-native technologies
• Experience with public speaking, content creation, and community engagement

Responsibilities

• Grow the Dapr OSS Community across GitHub, Discord, and other channels
• Moderate & nurture the ecosystem by managing community platforms and helping newcomers
• Create high-quality content: blogs, tutorials, architectural guides, sample apps
• Lead webinars, workshops, and live demos on a regular cadence
• Manage YouTube presence: scripting, recording, editing, and publishing videos
• Coordinate events and meetups in the Bay Area and globally
• Build demos and tools showcasing Dapr in production and AI agent use cases
• Gather feedback for engineering and product teams
• Represent Diagrid publicly at conferences, podcasts, and on social media
