Job summary

Holman is seeking an experienced software developer to build and maintain enterprise applications using C#.NET, ASP.NET, and React JS. You will collaborate with architects, participate in story refinement, and mentor junior engineers in a fast-paced, remote team.

The role requires 7+ years of hands-on experience with .NET technologies, strong SQL skills, API development, and a solid grasp of SDLC and Agile processes.

Qualifications

7+ years hands-on experience with C#.NET 4.5/4.0, ASP.NET, .NET Core, React JS, jQuery, JavaScript, HTML, CSS.
Strong SQL skills with SQL Server using Code First approach.
Experience in API development using .NET Core & fast endpoints is required.
Solid understanding of SDLC, Agile processes, and ability to work independently.
Experience developing with React.JS or React Native is a must.

Responsibilities

Develop applications, components, and services using C#.NET and Microsoft web tech.
Maintain, modify, and design new programs within existing systems.
Collaborate with project management and architects on design and development.
Provide accurate estimates for development efforts and timelines.
Perform peer code reviews and participate in sprint development.
Mentor junior developers and guide team in technical and people skills.
Leverage AI tools to accelerate code development and validation.

Primary Responsibilities:

Perform a variety of programming assignments requiring knowledge of established programming procedures and data processing requirements.
Maintain, modify, design, and implement new programs within existing systems and make recommendations on improving these systems.
Works with project management and architects on application design and development.
Develops applications, components, and services using C#.NET and Microsoft web technologies to meet the business needs.
Evaluates business requirements and processes to provide accurate estimates for development efforts.
Interprets written business requirements and technical specification documents.
Performs coding to written technical specifications and standards.
Investigates, analyzes and documents reported defects.
Creates, documents, and implements unit test plans, scripts, and test harnesses.
Performs related duties as assigned.
Provides reasonable and fair estimates for assigned tasks, work efforts, and projects.
Keeps current with software development trends, makes suggestions, and takes action on IT-related best practices, processes, and systems.
Guides less senior team members in both technical aspects and people skills.
Provides direction for new tools, technologies, and development approaches.
Mentor other junior level developers
Participate Actively in Story refinement sessions
Ability to Perform Peer code reviews and provide comments as part of sprint development
Leverage Microsoft Copilot within Visual Studio and Visual Studio Code to accelerate code development, validation, and review processes.
Build and maintain reusable AI skills that support common development and operational activities.
Create clear and concise context configurations and instruction files to optimize AI performance and output quality.
Design, develop, and orchestrate AI agents and sub-agents to automate workflows and increase operational efficiency.

Education and/or Training:

BS/BA degree in Computer Science or Information Systems.
.NET certification highly recommended.

Relevant Work Experience:

Minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience working with a combination of C#.NET 4.5/4.0, ASP.NET , .NET Core, React JS , jQuery, JavaScript, HTML, CSS
Strong SQL skills, with SQL server using Code first approach
Experience in API development using .net Core & fast endpoints is a must
Robust understanding of development lifecycle, SDLC processes, and Agile process
Must be able to work independently and efficiently within a diverse and fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Demonstrate strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Must have a solid understanding of enterprise architecture.
Experience developing applications using React.JS or React Native is a must
