Job summary

LlamaIndex is looking for a Developer Advocate to be the public face of LlamaParse, showing developers what the product can do using real documents and structured data. This role is ideal for someone who shines in person and on camera, with demos, talks, and social content driving adoption.

Based in the San Francisco Bay Area, you’ll travel to events, host demos, and share concrete, lived experiences that inspire teams to try LlamaParse in production.

Qualifications

• Excellent public speaking and ability to explain complex concepts.
• Strong social media presence and ability to create technical content.
• Experience giving live demos at events or conferences.
• Proficiency with Python and TypeScript for demos.
• Familiarity with OCR, LLMs, RAG and document pipelines.
• Willingness to travel and work in SF Bay Area hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Represent LlamaParse at conferences, meetups, hackathons, and workshops.
• Demo the product with real documents and show end-to-end parsing.
• Create content for social media and video demos.
• Produce technical content across formats (video, blogs, talks).
• Build demos and example apps to prove product capabilities.
• Collaborate with product and engineering on launches.
• Engage with the developer community to gather feedback.
