Job summary

Padgett Law Group in Tallahassee is seeking a Developer for our Technical Development Team. This role focuses on supporting our legal practice-management software CaseAware through troubleshooting, enhancements, and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Power BI dashboards and migrate reports.
• Act as primary source for troubleshooting.

Job Overview

We are recruiting a Developer for our Technical Development Team. The role focuses on CaseAware, our legal practice‑management software, providing critical support to PLG staff through troubleshooting, enhancements, training, and reporting.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Complete work for help tickets—primarily reporting tasks
• Submit the daily morning reporting package
• Serve as the primary manager of Excel VBA macro reporting
• Continuously monitor and update SQL/VBA code, fixing any bugs or errors
• Manage email distribution lists
• Run daily Power Automate workflows at 4 p.m. EST
• Maintain Power BI dashboards, migrating reports from Excel, SQL, and CaseAware into Power BI
• Act as a primary source for troubleshooting and help the team locate and resolve bugs and errors, including:
• CAVALS
• User step reports
• Ad‑hoc tasks and reports
• Step triggers
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Experience on a technical development team; strong preference for candidates with CaseAware or other legal tracking software experience
• Ability to work collaboratively in a congenial, team‑oriented environment
• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multi‑task and adapt to continual change
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
