Job summary

INSPYR Solutions is seeking a Developer to join its central security team for remote, six-month engagements. You will develop and automate tools and infrastructure, design scalable solutions, and deliver proof-of-concept projects across a range of technologies. Strong Python, AWS Lambda, CDK, JavaScript, and SQL skills are required.

Experience with dashboarding tools like Tableau and QuickSight is preferred. US-based candidates only; W2 direct hires only.

Qualifications

• BS or higher in Computer Science or related field.
• Strong development experience with Python.
• Experience with AWS; must have Lambda and CDK experience.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to design solutions.

Job description

Title: Developer

Location: Remote

Duration: 6 months, possible extensions

Compensation: $40-42/hr

Work Requirements: US Citizen, GC Holders or Authorized to Work in the U.S.

The Developer will join a central security team to support the innovation and execution of dynamic solutions for a variety of critical projects. Initiatives will pertain to the development and automation of global tools and infrastructure. Responsibilities will include designing solutions to complex problems, developing proof-of-concepts, iterating with advanced development teams, and solving ambiguous problems at a large-scale. A successful candidate will be able to think outside the box with a passion for finding ways to solve problems with technology solutions. You will need the ability to successfully delivery in a fast-paced, large-scale environment. You will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge initiatives spanning a variety of technologies and topics.

A successful candidate will have:

• BS or higher in Computer Science
• Strong development experience with Python
• Strong experience developing solutions within AWS; must have experience with Lambda and with building services in CDK
• Excellent problem-solving skills: proven ability to solution business problems using technology and develop proof-of-concepts
• Experience with JavaScript
• Experience with SQL - ability to write and amend queries
• Experience with dashboarding tools such as Tableau and QuickSight
