Digi International is seeking an entry-level engineer to build internal tools, AI pipelines, and automation systems. You will own development and operations of internally-built applications, cloud infrastructure, and help evaluate AI models while shaping how Digi adopts AI in daily work.
You’ll write code, run experiments, and collaborate across product, engineering, and operations in a hybrid, US-based role with real impact from day one.
At Digi International, you won't spend your first few years maintaining someone else's legacy system. This role puts you at the center of how we build and use AI — across internal operations, product strategy, and team enablement. You'll write real code, evaluate cutting-edge models, and help shape how a global IoT company adopts AI. It's a rare entry-level opportunity with genuine strategic exposure from day one.
Digi International is building an increasingly sophisticated set of internal tools, AI pipelines, and automation systems to accelerate how we operate and compete. This is a generalist role for someone who wants to write code, keep systems running, build glue, and grow into AI strategy work — all at the same time. You'll own the development and operations of internally-built applications, cloud infrastructure, help evaluate AI models and tools, and play a key role in how Digi's teams adopt AI in their day-to-day work. This is an entry-level position designed for someone technically sharp, curious, and eager to build real things that matter.
