BI Incorporated in Colorado is seeking a DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure with a focus on reliability and security. You will collaborate with development and security to enable seamless deployments and scalable services.

Responsibilities include CI/CD automation, monitoring, and incident resolution. Experience with AWS/Azure, IaC, Docker, Kubernetes, and scripting is required. On-call duties and continuous improvement are part of the role.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Engineering, Software Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience.
• At least three (3) years of experience in DevOps. Cloud engineering, or related roles.
• United States citizenship required.
• Ability to receive client’s approval to work on contract required.
• Must live in the US 3 of the last 5 years (military and study abroad included).
• Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS and Azur.
• Strong scripting skills in languages like Python, Bash, or Powershell.
• Hands‑on experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform, CloudFormations, or Ansible.
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools CloudWatch, CloudTrail or ELK stac.
• Relevant certifications such as AWS SysOps Administrator, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or AWS Certified Solutions Architect preferred.
• Experience with serverless architectures and microservices preferred.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and DevOps culture preferred.
• Understanding of network concepts, security best practice, and compliance standards.
• Strong development coding or scripting automation experience.
• Strong acumen for systems and technology.
• Working knowledge of database fundamentals.

Primary Duties And Responsibilitie

• The DevOps Engineer designs, deploys, and manages scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure on platforms such as AWS, and Azure.
• Implements and maintains CI/CD pipelines to automate the deployment process.
• The DevOps Engineer monitors and optimizes system performance, reliability, and security.
• Collaborates with the development team to ensure best practices for infrastructur.
• The DevOps Engineer serves as Software Code Release manager for the IT team.
• Manages contain orchestration platforms.
• Implements and manages logging, monitoring, and alerting solutions.
• Serves as subject matter expert to assist with incident management resolution and root cause analysis.
• Participates in on‑call rotation to support production environments.
• Monitors trends and developments in DevOps and systems technologies.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
