Overview

Detroit, MI MedTech Travel RN - Device Liaison role at IQVIA. The MedTech Registered Nurse Liaison experiences a unique opportunity to leverage clinical expertise in a dynamic role that goes beyond bedside care. Collaborate with healthcare professionals and advocate for the well-being of patients through medical device technology. You will be responsible for assisting the service team in device collection while facilitating room-to-room device upgrades.

Responsibilities

• Navigate units and coordinate with unit nurses to assist with pulling pumps as needed. Utilize clinical nursing expertise to answer questions and address concerns with the medical device.
• Collect devices in a hospital setting while collaborating with the department nursing staff and field service technicians.
• Provide updates, reports, and valuable feedback to clients during and after in-service assignments.
• Utilize prior hospital experience and customer service skills to ensure the device collections process does not interfere with location activities.
• Training for this role will be provided and is paid.

Job Requirements

• Nursing Degree (ADN or BSN) required.
• Hospital or industry experience required.
• RN license required.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with department staff and technicians as needed.
• Ability to clear hospital vendor credentialing requirements.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, bending, kneeling and lifting of equipment up to 50 pounds.
• Availability for 3 weeks per month and 1 week off.

Travel Requirement

• Full-time commitment with travel flexibility.
• Assignment-based schedule with 40+ hour commitment per week. Travel nationally to support customer needs.
• There is not a guarantee of 40+ hours per week, but that is the expectation.
• Driving is a business requirement for this role and candidates must possess a valid driver’s license with driving record review prior to hire.
• Personal vehicle required for job-related assignments up to 3 hours from home.
• Located within 1 hour of a major airport.
• Travel time and travel is paid.

Preferred Attributes

• Emergency Room or ICU experience preferred.
• Leadership experience (manager, educator, preceptor) can be helpful but is not required.
• Excellent documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently in customer settings with minimal supervision.

Compensation: The potential base pay range for this role is $35.00 - $37.00 per hour. Actual base pay offered may vary based on qualifications, location, and schedule. Incentives, bonuses, and other compensation or benefit programs may apply.
