Job summary

Xaba seeks an Applied Robotics Engineer in Detroit to advance AI-powered robotics automation. You will collaborate with engineers to deploy models leveraging DNN/CNN/GNN for industrial cognition and program generation.

You will conduct applied research in welding, machining, assembling, and inspection to train and validate physics-based models. Strong English and robotics expertise are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher in a robotics or engineering field and hands-on robotics experience.
• Experience with industrial robot manipulators (ABB, FANUC, UR, KUKA).
• Hands-on skills in designing, building and deploying robotic systems.
• Familiarity with welding, machining, assembling, or inspection processes.
• Proficient English communication.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional engineers to support AI model deployment for robotics.
• Research and develop physics-based AI for fabrication processes.
• Provide training and customer support for Xaba products.
• Engage with customers to ensure smooth integration of AI-powered robotics.
