Job summary

Northwest Specialty Hospital, an extension of Northern Nevada Medical Center, opens a new Detox Unit in Northwest Reno. The part-time Registered Nurse will work in a medical/telemetry environment on a flexible night shift, delivering patient-centered care within a 24-hour secure unit.

A multidisciplinary team supports care including physicians, nurses, CNAs, social workers, and therapists; benefits include full medical plans, 401(k), tuition reimbursement, and career development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Current RN license.
• Current BLS certificate.
• One year full time or three years part time experience in an psychiatric setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Involves the patient and family psychosocial, spiritual, emotional, population specific, and diversity needs in care assessment.
• Constructs and implements the plan of care using nursing knowledge and skill integrates direct and indirect patient care activities related to the diagnosis and co-morbidities.
• Collaborates with the patient's designated care partner to meet the educational, physical, psychological, and spiritual needs of the patient.
