Job summary

Summa Health System – Akron Campus is seeking an RN for the Detox Unit (4E) on nights (7p–7:30a), full-time 36 hrs/week, every other weekend/holiday. The unit provides alcohol and chemical dependency detoxification for adults on a 14-bed unit with 1:6 to 1:7 nurse-to-patient ratio.

Highlights include a $5/hr night differential, $1/hr weekend differential, and a 12-month nurse residency program for new grads. Ohio RN license required with ADN; BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• PRN RN with at least one year recent experience
• One year RN experience required for weekend option
• Additional related experience for specialty units

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate nursing care based on basic nursing principles
• Manage resources and support families in the delivery of care
• Deliver evidence-based care aligned with unit protocols
