Job summary

Community and FamilyResources in Iowa City is seeking a Nurse to provide medical care for clients in our Medically Monitored Detox Unit. This PRN position offers autonomy and direct impact on care decisions for individuals with substance use disorders, within the GuideLink Center.

The role requires an active Iowa RN or LPN license, with preferred experience in substance use treatment and flexible day or night shifts, including some holidays.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with an active license in Iowa.
• Experience in substance use treatment services is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide Comprehensive Assessment and Care Plan delivery for clients following physician and standing orders.
• Be an active member of the integrated care team.
• Active participation for individualized discharge planning for each client.
• Close collaboration with medical providers for each client to ensure high quality care.

Community and FamilyResources is seeking a Nurse to provide medical care for clients in our Medically Monitored Detox Unit in Iowa City. This detox unit is located in a Community Access Center called the GuideLink Center.

This position is PRN and will cover staff call offs and PTO.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide Comprehensive Assessment and Care Plan delivery for clients following physician and standing orders.
• Be an active member of the integrated care team.
• Active participation for individualized discharge planning for each client.
• Close collaboration with medical providers for each client to ensure high quality care.

Education and Experience Qualifications:

• Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with an active license in Iowa.
• Experience in substance use treatment services is preferred.

Schedule:

• Type: PRN
• Hours: Availability must be day shift (6a-6p) and/or night shift (6p-6a) and have flexibility to work some holidays.
