Job summary

The Medical University of South Carolina is seeking experienced Registered Nurses for Detox Services in a PRN capacity. You will provide comprehensive nursing care following the nursing process and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support patient health in non-MAGNET facilities.

Ideal candidates hold an Associate’s Degree, active SC RN licensure (or compact state), and BLS certification; a minimum of one year of RN experience is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirements include an Associate’s Degree and at least one year of RN work experience.
• RN licensure by SC Board of Nursing or a compact state license is required.
• Current AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers or ARC BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Direct and lead assigned team members and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
• Maintain age/developmentally appropriate care per MUSC nursing standards.
• Engage in health teaching, promotion, and evaluation of goals and interventions.
