A high school diploma is required, with a preference for candidates holding a bachelor's degree. Knowledge of DSM V and intake experience is beneficial. Qualifications

• Must be actively pursuing or willing to pursue State Licensure for alcohol and/or drug counselor.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial assessment of patient problems and needs.
• Provide information to patients and families about treatment.
• Provide tours for prospective patients and their families.

Skills

Intake and assessment experience

Working knowledge of DSM V Substance Disorder diagnosis

Education

High School Diploma
