Job summary

Venture BHM in Millbury, MA is hiring a Registered Nurse to join a detox and residential addiction treatment program. You\u2019ll work on the front lines helping adults safely withdraw from substances and start their recovery, in a supportive clinical team environment.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Massachusetts RN license (or compact license valid in MA)
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• Detox, addiction, psychiatric, or behavioral health nursing experience preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Complete nursing assessments on admission and throughout the patient\'s stay
• Monitor withdrawal symptoms using CIWA and COWS; elevate to providers as needed
• Administer medications, including MAT and detox protocols, and maintain accurate MAR documentation
• Take and track vital signs; monitor for medical complications; respond to emergencies
• Provide patient education on medications, withdrawal, and relapse prevention
• Collaborate with medical providers, clinicians, and support staff on individualized treatment plans
• Document care accurately and on time in the EMR
• Help create a safe, respectful, recovery-focused environment
