Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduation from high school, or equivalent.
• Experience in controlling individuals in secured environments preferred.
• Ability to follow regulations and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Supervise custody and control of inmates by enforcing facility rules and maintaining order.
• Oversee intake of prisoners and ensure proper fingerprinting, hygiene, and clothing protocols.
• Coordinate with multiple agencies, including the County Attorney's Office.
• Monitor activities to maintain safety and discipline, including inmate visits and reporting abnormalities.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain population inventories and disciplinary actions.
• Administer medication, deliver meals, and perform cell checks.
• Perform related duties safely and comply with health and safety programs.
