Qualifications

• Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners provide care under a physician collaboration and prescriptive authority.
• Must hold current licensure and national certification, with ability to prescribe controlled medications.
• Experience in primary care and in detention or residential healthcare settings is preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English; Spanish skills preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide acute, urgent, and chronic care as part of an integrated team.
• Perform comprehensive history and physicals, coordinate tests, and manage patient care.
• Adhere to policy, privacy regulations, and accreditation standards.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and complete documentation in the electronic health record.
• Participate in credentialing processes and ongoing training.
