CML Security is seeking a hands-on professional with steel fabrication and carpentry experience to fabricate, install, and maintain detention-related equipment. The role involves welding, door hardware work, and testing locking systems at active sites, with travel to multiple states.

Ideal candidates grasp reading construction documents, work independently, and meet the physical demands, including lifting up to 50 pounds. A HS diploma or GED is preferred.

Formación

• Steel fabrication background required.
• Carpentry skills and ability to use common trade tools.
• Self-driven with ownership of assigned work.
• Ability to read or learn construction documents and shop drawings.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Fabricate, fit, install, adjust, and maintain steel assemblies and detention-related equipment.
• Install and maintain doors, frames, locks, sliders, door closers, furniture, and related hardware.
• Perform welding and carpentry work for field installation, repair and modification.
• Install wire mesh, security ceilings, wall panels, glazing and caulking.
• Plan, install, service and test mechanical and electronic locking systems.
• Lay out equipment locations using construction documents and shop drawings.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and door-hardware issues and complete emergency repairs as needed.
• Handle and distribute construction materials, including doors, frames, glass, hardware, steel furniture, and steel assemblies.
• Communicate effectively, work independently, and maintain CML Security standards, culture, and values.
• Assist with related building maintenance tasks and other duties as assigned.
